Philippa Moore

is a writer based in nipaluna/Hobart, lutruwita/Tasmania. She is the author of the memoir The Latte Years, published by Nero/Black Inc Books in 2016.

Philippa’s journalism, stories, poetry and essays have appeared regularly in consumer magazines, international media, literary journals and online.

She is currently working on a novel set in 1820s Australia as part of her PhD in creative writing and colonial history at the University of Tasmania. Her PhD project received a 2023 KSP Residential Fellowship and she is the joint winner of the 2022-23 Van Diemen History Prize.
